20.01.2022 What do we make? People have asked me this for years now..... I still dont have an answer! We are whats called a jobbing shop, meaning businesses come to us to manufacture the products they have designed or help them redesign their product for ease of manufacture.We go right down to the finish such as electroplating as in the pictures below or powder coating which is a more popular finish. Printing follows if required, or packed as per customer needs & delivered. Help from start to finish, the way it should be!

18.01.2022 Printed Rack Panels More Panels, again all taken care of in house. Our customer sends us a CAD file, from this we create a Laser Cutting program to make the Panels, this Laser file follows the customers original file to our Screen Printing section where the ARTWORK is created and sent to the customer for approval, this is happening whilst our powder coater is completing the finish on the panels. By the time this is done and the customer has approved the Artwork or requested changes, the panels are back & ready to be printed, Fast turnaround, Quality results at a fair price, any questions?

15.01.2022 Press Tools Not common these days is the need for low volume pressed parts, dependant on the part needs we can create our own forming tools for use in our 60 Tonne Press. Most people couldnt tell the difference between this part we made in a $500 Forming Die we made and one made in a $5000 dollar Forming Die that needs its own press to work with. Savings of $4500 on tooling and $15000.00 on the machine to use it!

13.01.2022 Theres more to it than the "PRINT" Customers are much more understanding of the costs when they see the effort that goes into making the jigs and fixtures needed to get the printing accurate and looking great on every part. We have never been the cheapest printers in town, but you will never be unhappy with the result or have your customer reject the quality. The Artwork you supply or approve from us is what you will get .... Simple as that really.

13.01.2022 Vinyl Cutting for Identification & Advertising At the simple end of small signage we also do Vinyl cut lettering and multi colour if required. Vinyl cutters use a small knife to precisely cut the outline of a picture into a sheet or piece of vinyl. The knife moves side to side and turns, while the vinyl is moved beneath the knife. What results from the cut process is an image cut into the material. The material is then weeded where the not needed parts of the picture are re...moved. It is possible to remove the positive parts, which would give a negative sticker, or you could weed the negative parts, giving a positive sticker. Some of those stages are shown in the following pictures.

Not all days go quite as well as we hoped but at least it wasnt a self created problem and on the bright side it means i can share some photos which helps show how SLA or Stereolithography (try saying that 3 times fast) printing "grows" out of the puddle of goop. In this case our power went out at some stage after we had left for the day, so instead of happily printing away overnight they just stopped, as they would! really not the best way to start your day when you are on a hard schedule ....... Needless to say, now there are some serious UPS units added to the 3D print room
