24.01.2022 Saddened to learn of the passing of Internationally renown Tasmanian Painter Geoff Dyer. Winning the Archibald Prize in 2003 and becoming one of Australia's most collected landscape artists. He has left behind an incredible legacy of work and will be missed by many.

22.01.2022 Denison Canal Slip Bridge at Dunalley has jammed twice this month leaving motorists stuck in lines of traffic for 2km. It’s the only access point to/ from the Tasman Peninsula. Thanks to the community for raising the problem.

21.01.2022 Good hat/ helmet combo! Dave & I completed the old salty dog St Helens bike trail this afternoon. The tracks are really well attended & beautifully maintained.

08.01.2022 Thursday 15th October 2020 was the 50th anniversary of the Westgate Bridge Disaster. During the Adjournment I spoke about this tragedy. It was the worst industrial accident in Australia's history. It was also a huge turning point in Australia for changes in workplace health & safety and compensation laws.
