10.01.2022 When I am feeling anxious, instead of saying 'I'm anxious', I find it helpful to say, 'Something in me is feeling anxious'. Really it's just a part of you and not ALL of you that is feeling anxious (even though it sometimes does feel like ALL of you). When you do this, you can then get just that little bit of space from the part of you that is feeling anxious. Then you can turn toward that part with curiosity and be present with what's there for you right now.
