02.01.2022 Thanks for your patience, Melbourne. We are pleased to announce that we are now recruiting Melbourne participants for the project using an online platform. Instead of attending in-person sessions, we are now inviting you to enrol in our research project by visiting a website and then working your way through an educational module before deciding whether you would like to have genetic testing for changes in the BRCA1/2 genes that are more common in people with Jewish ancestry.... If you decide after working through the online module that you want to have testing, we will post a cheek swab to you to collect some cheek cells and ask you to post it back to us. This is only available at this stage to Jewish people living in Melbourne. The first step is to go to https://www.genetics.wolper.com.au/brca . From there you can register, complete the questionnaires, and decide whether you want to consent to testing.
