24.01.2022 I recently took some of my original paintings down to Sydney to see about getting a Limited Edition range of Archival Giclee prints done. I was absolutely blown away with the quality of colour and texture look that the guys at @cie_elledigital were able to produce using beautiful heavy 310gsm photo rag 100% cotton paper and bright pigment ink. This Limited Edition range is available unframed in three sizes and now listed on my website (in menu under shop). A selection will be available for sale at @artnuvobuderim coinciding with the opening of our group show this weekend where the original pieces are hanging. 16.01.2022 I have been working on this larger oil painting for my website. Inspired by the roadside down past Esk on a recent trip. It was the end of Autumn and the start of Winter so the colours were a bit weird - cools and warms and everything in between. The little slick of deep purple cut out in the land caught my eye. 100cm x 100cm Available on my website now. www.jenief.com.au

09.01.2022 Sometimes a painting flows effortlessly... almost as if you are the observer to some unknown sub conscious force painting itself into reality. I didn’t mean that to sound deep it’s really quite simple and a lovely feeling when it happens... which by the way makes up for all the horrible feelings when you have to fight hard to resolve a painting.
