25.01.2022 In my previous post, I mentioned how important a design concept is to begin with before undertaking any interior project. This is the concept I produced for the works taking place in Alfords Point. 24.01.2022 This is me signing off for 2020! Well, it’s been a big year, and we all know it wasn’t because it was a leap year. The emotional list of 2020 includes events such as: Australian bushfires, the Coronavirus pandemic, Macaulay Culkin turning 40 (holy crap) and the Bluey episode ‘sleepytime’ making the New York Times best tv episodes (for reals though, that episode makes me cry my eyes out and I’m pretty sure it’s not because of pregnancy hormones)... ... Unfortunately though, it’s true that each and every one of us have in some way been negatively affected by this year. And at 0:00 on 1 January, 2021 everything will not stop and all the damage caused will not disappear, but our perspective can. So my wish to you is that you’re able to reflect on 2020 and try and find the good, the positive and the life lessons this year has brought you. By doing this you might realise the things you once took for granted, now hold so much more importance to you. And that’s amazing! I was called in to design their new open-plan entry way, formal lounge, kitchen and dining, and while interior design is already a slight reach out of my scope, kitchen design was well out of my league.
