25.01.2022 My heart was almost bursting after receiving this thank-you message: " We keep looking at them over and over, smiling and feeling the love of our family. Thank-you so, so much." After a day of horrendous rain, we almost canceled the session. I am so glad we didn't ,as the shy sun popped out just in time to highlight the love and energy of three of my dearest friends. I so wanted it to work out - and after reading this message, I can say that I'm pretty sure it did.

24.01.2022 We'd planned a little beach photo session with this gorgeous family but unfortunately it rained two days prior and our small beach was swamped when we arrived. Uh O! But after a short wander we found some great spots to capture photos. The wonderful thing was that it was only a stone's throw away from their home and it meant that their adorable pup, Billie, could join us and be the star of the show! It was lovely to meet you all. Thanks Amy Jephcott and crew for a fun afternoon!

22.01.2022 How did you spend time with your grandparents? I remember planting seeds, picking raspberries, podding peas, eating butterfly jelly cupcakes, games of euchre and massive family gatherings in a very tidy, modest house in Invermay. These guys had photos playing pool as its one of their favourite activities to do together. They are having the whole family photo framed via the store linked to their online gallery and it should arrive soon. I can't wait to see it!

Thanks Didi Mitchelland Maly Westbrook for modeling with Didi's bunnies and helping to promote Benni Marine Designs headbands at the same time. They are some of the most adorable photos I've taken so far!

05.01.2022 My son Angus and his gorgeous friend Chelsea headed off to their Year 10 Leaver's dinner last night looking ultra stylish. I loved seeing how much joy this occasion brought them at the end of a turbulent year. If you have a young person in Year 10 next year and would like some lovely photos taken - please book me in, because I truly love taking photos of young people at this stage of their lives.

I hope that you have a friend - human or other- to talk to, be listened to and reassured by simply having their unwavering friendship. A walk in the bush....a loving and loyal dog...companionship....contentment.

01.01.2022 Meet little baby Jasper. Just 12 days old and incredibly tiny and gorgeous. I met his mum and dad, Hannah and Jye, only a month or so ago for their maternity photo session. They then messaged me the day little Jasper was born to share their news that he'd arrived a few weeks early. It was an honour to be invited to their home to record this beautiful time and to try and capture the tenderness and love of parenthood. I left the session almost teary because I just felt priv...ileged to have had that opportunity and I also felt that this is the occupation I should have had, or made for myself, many years ago. I just felt as if this is where I am meant to be right now, this is my job I've been waiting for. A bit mushy I know...but true. A redundancy seemed like such a cruel turn, but here I am exactly 12 months down the line and I feel as if it was actually the kickstart I needed. I hope you love these pics as much as I do.
