22.01.2022 Custom Creation In 2011 Jenny was commissioned to design a bespoke tapestry for the newly rebuilt Bunbury Cathedral in WA. Interpreting Robert Junipers painting The Ascension , the tapestry is hand made in pure silk and wool. At 4.5 x 6.5m it hangs above the cathedrals alter. The renowned and now deceased treasured artist Robert Juniper was speechless when he saw his work interpreted in this scale and form.

This is to create hand-spun wool. Hand-carders are a pair of wooden paddles with wire faces. The wire teeth are either course or fine. These are especially used to card lanolin rich wool.
