20.01.2022 Another birthday come and gone, had a little afternoon tea with friends and made myself an orange poppyseed cake with white choc ganache. When you're short on time it's a great idea to just grab a few packets of different biscuits n lollies and pile them on top for some simple but delicious decoration

20.01.2022 One of my wonderful friends hosted a Christmas in July party this weekend so I made an eggnog cheesecake with gingerbread base and little gingerbread people ;-) I will definitely be remembering this recipe for Christmas in December, it was a hit! A decent effort for my first cheesecake too.

18.01.2022 I hope everyone had a great Christmas and relaxing boxing day xx I made a pina colada trifle which was so yum, plus white choc cranberry fudge and my mum made choc mint cheesecake, sugar overload but oh well

16.01.2022 I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas day and enjoyed some yummy treats I hope 2018 will be a happy and successful year for you all xxx

12.01.2022 Yesterday I held my baby shower and had some fun with family and friends. Last year I was given a giant cupcake cake pan for my birthday and took the chance to use it, and it turned out pretty cute Unfortunately I didn't get around to cutting it at the shower so guess who's eating cake for the next week (I'm not complaining though)

08.01.2022 Last weekend my lovely friend Missy turned the big 4 0 and hosted an ugly jumper party, she left it up to me to do whatever cake design I felt like but of course I went for an ugly jumper! It was messy but fun splashing the icing all over it and I think it turned out pretty ugly I also made little jumper bikkies to go with it.

06.01.2022 I hope everyone had a very merry christmas and enjoyed all the delicious food and goodies that go with it. I did some baking including my usual gingerbread and christmas cake rum balls which seem to be becoming a tradition, though unfortunately I didn't get around to making the awesome eggnog cheesecake maybe next year. I hope you all have a happy new year in 2017 xxx

05.01.2022 I haven't been doing much baking in the last few months so was looking forward to making the hubby's birthday cake this weekend - a 'banana split' with banana cake layers, choc icing, white choc ganache and melted choc with wafers, m&m's and sprinkles on top. The only thing missing was ice cream but its too bloody cold for that :-)

04.01.2022 Had a fun night at a friend's 50th birthday party and I had the pleasure of making the birthday cake! His favourite soccer team colours I'm happy with how well it turned out as I hadn't attempted fondant stripes before

03.01.2022 Happy Valentine's Day! Flashback to our engagement party a few years ago when I made this delish choccy cake with some simple but pretty fondant decorations xx

03.01.2022 Had a lovely day today at a sweet little 3year old's birthday party and made her a banana flavoured pigs in mud cake, yum yum!

03.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone I hope you're having a lovely weekend I'm looking forward to tucking into these hummingbird cupcakes i made for today.
