09.01.2022 Snap crackle pop! After 5 years of competitive martial arts I haven't injured myself till now. Right ACL is gone! Surgery is booked for march. I continued and won only this match during the tournament but the damage was already done I will be doing a blog on this page to update you on my recovery and rehab for others who have been through the injury

08.01.2022 Going up and down in weight throughout the years. From bulking to leaning down naturally i found that adding great habits aid to lean out this summer. Here are my 5 easy tips include to include in your lifestyle and intake especially coming up to summer: - Drink 2 large glasses of water upon wake and 2 hours prior to bed to aid in digestion (I like adding pink salt and a lemon in my morning water for hydration and alkaline!)... - Add healthy fats in your daily consumption (handful of almonds for snacks or avocados in your salad helps fight the fat!) - include a variety of protein sources amongst your meals (red meats for iron, are great for omega 3 oils for healthy joints ) - Add fibre in your diet . An unnecessary surplus of protein and carbs don't really aid your success and pretty much helps in storage and constipation. Instead try smaller frequent meals (I try 5 medium meals 2-3 hours apart) instead of large meals . - Don't diet! People are always looking for the best way. My honest answer is your way. Try what types of carbs make you feel less bloated or lethargic (some cut out bread and pasta others switch to alternatives). Not everyone will have the same reaction to a particular way of eating. (I'm currently mixing keto and adding certain whole grains in my daily intake at the moment for all the high intensity workouts in my routine) and always try to include some form of vegetables in your meal (my biggest weakness) **Bonus: If your having trouble with blotation look at your sugar intake (Im minimising all refined sugars) . I'm currently taking some form of probiotic (Kombucha) daily. Here is a sample of my daily intake: 5:00am: Drink 1/2 litre water (sprinkled with pink salt + 1/2 lemon ) 5:30am: workout (1 hr full body olympic lifting) 7am: Breakfast (3 whole egg omelette cooked with coconut oil) & 2 handfuls of natural almonds + Organic orange juice (drink with following supplements: 1 multivitamin, 2 omega-3 , 1 glucosamine, 2 vit c & garlic tablets & 1 Alpha Brain (nootropic) 10am: Coffee , 2 protein pancakes (used 180 nutrition protein and gluten free pancake mix (ill put a video up soon!), handful of blue berries 1pm: lunch (currently on my muscle chef for lunch and dinner) Grilled Salmon with steamed carrots + green beans in ginger and orange sauce & 1 litre of water 3pm: 1 small bowl of coconut yoghurt & handful of strawberries & 2 table spoons of natural peanut butter 6pm: Dinner: Lemon grass chicken & Asian vegetables with 1/2 avocado + 1 glass of Kombucha (orange and ginger flavour) 7pm: 30 minute HIIT (mix of bodyweight exercises , sprint and core work) 8pm: 600ml protein shake (1 scoop of 180 nutrition protein, coconut water and almond milk) 8:25pm: 1/2 litre of water Any questions? 04.01.2022 Not the result i wanted to hear. Complete ACL tear and some bone fragments loose. I will have to strengthen my knee and surrounding muscles prior to surgery whilst reducing the swelling. Will post my program on keeping the muscles in check!
