22.01.2022 To all those who would really love to try out FloYo, there's plenty of spots available. Message me or come see me at the pool to secure your spot. 2.30pm, 3.30pm or 4.30pm. Remember it's a free class, just pay a $10 deposit to secure your spot and you'll receive the money back on arrival to the class on the day.

18.01.2022 Had a blast on Saturday with the FloYo classes! I had so much positive feedback! A big thanks to Blackline swim school for running the classes and also a big thanks to The Australian Government Drought in Communities Programme for funding the event! Hopefully we can do it again in the future!

17.01.2022 Hey everyone, Following up of the expression of interest post... Free FloYo and FloYo Fit classes are going ahead. On Saturday the 15th of Feburary Black line swim school instructors will travel over to Jerilderie and run this great activity throughout the day. ... There will be three different classes over the course of the day and each class can only have 10 people. So get in quick to secure your spot. In order to secure your spot jump online via the link below and book a slot. There is a $10.00 deposit each and everyone must make and which they will get back when they show up to the class. This is to try and prevent people not showing up leaving a spot that could've been filled. You can also come into me at the pool and book a spot with your $10 in cash if youd prefer? Funded by the Australian Government Drought Communities Programme and supported by the Murrumbidgee Council this event gives everyone a great reason to socialise and focus of ones wellbeing during this time of the drought. 13.01.2022 Just posting to gather some expression of interest.... We are thinking of having a pop up flo-yo class at the Jerilderie Pool. I would love to hear some feedback about this idea. It can be organised and funded so that it can be free of charge if people are keen to do it. Images are of the classes by blackline who ... will be the same people that will organise/take the class held at Jerilderie. Comment or like if it sounds like a fun idea :)))

13.01.2022 Its bacon and egg Friday! Despite the past few rainy days this morning is a great morning to get your togs on and pop down for a morning swim and finish it off with an egg and bacon roll. Sadly I do have to delay the breaky to a 8am start until 10am because this silly organiser forgot to buy bacon and eggs.

12.01.2022 Starting this coming Tuesday (7th) until the end of the school holidays an extra hour will be added to the morning shift. So the pool will be open from 6-11. Now you can have a sleep in and an early dip before the heat of the day hits.

11.01.2022 MORNING SWIMS We’ve had such a great turn out in the morning shift each morning since opening and this morning was no exception What a great way to start the day I say. Come down for some laps or just to get that fresh start to the day. We are open from 6am until 10am so whether it’s a dip before work or after dropping the kids off at school there’s a time that should suit you!! ... And for those lap swimmers... each day I’m going to have a little lap session if you want to spice it up or have a little plan to follow

Also our brand spanking BBQ is looking fresh and ready for anyone who wants a cheeky BBQ dinner or lunch on an afternoon or day spent at the pool. 06.01.2022 And just like that the pool came to a sudden close on Tuesday to end the season... I wouldve liked to have seen it stay open until the end of the season but due to these unforeseen and radically changing circumstances some things cannot be prevented. I would like to say a massive thank you to Murrumbidgee Council for all the support throughout the season and also to the amazing community of Jerilderie and surrounds that came and used the facility. It was a great year at th...e Jerilderie Pool. It was so awesome to see it booming after the previous few quiet years. Theres greater things to come with the new pool next year and everyone should be excited, watch this space. On that note, I hope this comes to everyone in good health. Good bye for now and stay safe and healthy during these crazy times. Ps. I would like to humbly inform everyone that I will have been the last person to ever slide on the beloved Jerilderie Pool slide Love Paige, your friendly neighbourhood lifeguard.

03.01.2022 POOL PARTY! This Saturday (21st) will be our open day woohoo! To celebrate we are going to have a pool partayyyy! ... Deviating from normal opening hours we will be open from 1pm on Saturday and until around 9pm! It’s going to be super cool! The pools a looking fresh and there’ll be a free sausage sizzle in the afternoon and the tunes will be pumping all day then if it’s getting a bit dark we’ll light it up with our awesome new lights! Drinks and lollies and ice creams will be available at the kiosk! One thing... Bring your own chairs as the seating hasn’t been put in yet! Also a towel’s distance apart is the rule unless you’re from the same household. Additionally pay attention to the other few protols in place for these covid times. Please respect them... Let’s be covid safe. But more importantly... Let’s have fun and celebrate these new facilities! I can’t wait to see you all on the weekend!

02.01.2022 Forget swimming with the dolphins... come to the Jerilderie pool and you get to swim with frogs for freeeeeeee. But seriously everyone dont let a little rain stop you. The water is great and youll feel like a new person afterwards! And dont worry I got rid of the frog! Unfortunately I bring not so good news this morning... the pool water is not up to scratch after some chemical difficulties and so unfortunately the pool must remain closed this morning. We hope to have the problem rectified by the afternoon opening hours. Sorry for the sad news on a Sunday, but hopefully we’ll be back up and running in no time.

At Jerilderie Pool every Friday of March there will be bacon and egg rolls for any morning swimmers between 6-9am. (Starts tomorrow the 28th of Feb). Getting in the pool in the morning is the best way to sta...rt your morning and youll feel amazing for the rest of the day! This month might see to a few cooler mornings than the summer months but that shouldnt stop anyone because usually its warmer in the water than out of it which makes for a perfect swim! And after youve refreshed from your morning swim nothing could be better than having a nice warm egg and bacon roll. Come along and start your day the right way! See more
