24.01.2022 The Ellerton Drive extension is nearing completion and is expected to open mid-2020, weather permitting. Check out the latest progress update at: https://bit.l...y/2z58OQu Weve had a number of people ask us about an opportunity for the community to walk on the road and over the new bridge before it is open to traffic. The project team did some initial planning for a community open day, but gathering limitations and social distancing requirements of COVID-19 has meant that probably wont be possible. We will update you closer to when the new road is ready to accept its first traffic.

18.01.2022 A total of 45 cases of COVID-19 have been formally identified within the District (as at 10:00am, Monday 30 March, 2020) following 1767 tests. This does not inc...lude the additional case in Goulburn of a person who is an ACT resident. FYI: The old LGA areas allow us to provide more accurate locations without being too specific. Many of these areas are made up of small towns and communities. Naming a large LGA may not be all that useful, however the older shire locations help us strike the balance between not being too specific and breaching patient confidentiality (within potentially very small communities) and giving people a more relatively defined location.

17.01.2022 Wondering when is Aldi Jerrabomberra is opening???? The last weekend of June.

17.01.2022 Have your seen this stunning little fella? Chances are he is really hungry and scared as he is lost. His name is Fitzy . His owners are offering a $500 reward if you have found him.

15.01.2022 Shhhhh.........its a secret but the Ellerton Drive is opening tomorrow. Thanks to COVID-19, there will be no community day where we can take a walk or a bike ride on the road before its open to cars and trucks. Just a low key closed opening for a select few. For Jerra residents, the good news is that QPRC has the noise monitoring data from before the road was open (even if they refuse to share it with our community publicly). We are the only ones that didnt get noise walls. With all the crazy traffic behaviour changes brought about by COVID-19, it may take a bit of time to feel the full impact of all the additional traffic.

13.01.2022 It is great to see lots of people out walking, in particular with their dogs.
