13.01.2022 Jerrah walked on like he couldn’t wait for the show to begin and his vibrancy and joy held me from beginning to end. He’s a great singer with great melody and lyrics that elicit a huge range of emotions. Very original. Great songs. Sam Worrad’s guitar playing took me to exactly where and what Jerrah was singing about. So empathetic and intuitive. Never over-riding the vocals, same with his vocal harmonies. Jerrah has such an innate sense of rhythm I barely noticed he was pla...ying the drum he has around his neck. The two of them were so tight...I’m still revved up from that brilliant gig. 10.01.2022 Seeing the 'Rain Is Falling' video projected on the big screen at the Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub was an unforgettable moment, and one of the highlights of Jerrah's Sounds Like Rain album launch. 03.01.2022 You can get the limited CD edition of 'Sounds Like Rain' for $20 at Parramatta's Beatdisc Records. Jerrah launched the album with a sold out show at Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub in late November. Highlights include a celebration of the end of bushfire season (Rain Is Falling), tributes to beloved local landmarks (The Glenbrook Pool Song), relatable observations about the everyday (Opal Card, All My Friends, Some Food Courts Are Better Than Others) and an unlikely ...mini song cycle about Jerrah’s favourite Scottish festival - Brigadoon, in the Southern Highlands of NSW. "I honestly have never encountered a musician so thrilled to be performing and recording as Jerrah, and it’s an absolute treat given that most of the stuff I like is made by curmudgeons for curmudgeons. This one is a joy, for real." - Luke Martin, Cyclic Defrost cyclicdefrost.com/2020/12/cyclic-defrost-best-of-2020/ "There's not a lot to love about 2020 but this album is pure magic." - Joe Cannon
