11.01.2022 EAT YOUR GREENS Green leafy vegetables are a great source of nutrition. Eating a diet rich in these beauties will supply your body with iron, magnesium, B vitamins, calcium, vitamin A and folate. Amazing! Easiest way to eat your greens is to add them into your smoothies or even just frying them up with some garlic, lemon and oil. Adding a squeeze of lemon and a little dietary fat (oil) to ensure you maximise the absorption of all of these nutrients.
09.01.2022 WHAT'S YOUR BED TIME ROUTINE? Have you thought about adopting a sleep routine? It is a great place to start when trying to get a good nights sleep. Try and find a bed time routine that works for you and repeat each night. Go to bed at the same time each night and wake up at the same time every morning. Stick to these every day - even on weekends! Avoid screens before bed ... Have a warm shower or a bath. If you are having a bath try adding some epsom salts and lavender essential oil Bed = sleep zone. Make your bedroom a place for sleep only. Tea. Using herbal tea is a great way to help your mind start to wind down and prepare the body for rest. I am loving the 'Sleep' blend from @loveteaofficial See more

Research on the effects that probiotics can have on mood is pretty fascinating. ‘Specific strains’ of probiotics can help to: - Increase GABA, which is our cool, calm and collected hormone t...hat helps us to feel zen-like. - Increase serotonin. Our happy hormone that helps to support a stable mood. See more
03.01.2022 When we experience anxiety or stress our body switches into a fight or flight response. When we are in this state it can interfere with digestion, usually leading to numerous gut symptoms such as indigestion, altered bowel movements, stomach cramps, nausea, bloating and loss of appetite. It can also exacerbate already existing conditions, such as IBS. There are certain herbs, nutrients and techniques you can use to lessen the impact of anxiety on the digestive system. If you need extra assistance call the clinic on 5298-2642 or jump on the website to book your appointment.
