21.01.2022 Hey everyone, apoligies for not posting so much I've been busy filming and droning but still contemplating and thinking about new painting ideas, taking photos and considering my new direction. I'm entering this painting (based on a picture taken by a mate) of a scene of people in Singapore flying kites into the Ellenbrook Art Prize. Tried so hard to paint each person in the scene, so you can see what everyone is doing. He's me vanishing the finished work in my studio. #perthartist #oilpainting #artprize

02.01.2022 Rediculous high quality prints of my painting titled 'Dr. Innocent Muhereza' Scanned into a multi gigabyte file by Lucida Studio Printed in style by Chinoiserie Fine Art Dr Innocent is a friend who showed my Dad and I around Kampala, Uganda (My Dad several times) and who studied his PhD at Muresk Institute near Northam (that's where Dad met him). Hard to put into words the whole of the story of getting there, filming the training for farmers that we did and then painting ...this picture of Innocent looking proud at the university he went to in Kampala (before being awarded a scholarship to study anywhere in the world). I felt it was right to send the first prints to Uganda for Dr Innocent and an extra copy for good luck with the hope of it being framed there and displayed. Either at the university we visited or elsewhere. Went to DHL at the airport Friday. Now I've just found customs has them already at Entebbe Airport Kampala, that was fast!
