Your body requires a certain level of sodium to function properly, particularly to maintain blood pressure, blood volume and muscle use. You also lose a good deal of sodium as you sweat through an intense workout losing all our bodies minerals and sodium leaving us feeling fatigued or stressed out. What’s a small thing you can do that can have a big effect on your performance? Drink enough water. Our bodies are mostly comprised of fluid, which means that every cell, tissue, and organ needs enough water to function. While plain H20 is the most important part of hydration, you also need electrolytes like potassium and sodium to perform at your best. Add iodised salt to every meal and straight into your water after a workout. Depending on the type of diet you have will depend on how much salt you have in your diet already, but if your feeling weak after a workout, try adding the salt to replenish electrolytes in your body and forget about Gatorade just drink water and salt and maybe add cordial for flavor, just a little :') p.s himalayan rock salt/ or normal rock sea salt none of that ionised table crap! that is waste recycled and bleached its no good. Also peeing clear that means you've flushed all the minerals out from your body so its not good.
