25.01.2022 Right?! I am going to cut sick on that post-pandemic dance floor! da ta ting ting ting ting doof doof doof boof doof doof doof boof

24.01.2022 Can I tell you this epic story about drones, dogs, helicopters, and rugged mountain people battling invasive species in the Snowy Mountains? You might never have heard of Hawkweed (a pretty but deadly flower) but it’s a menace, destroying delicate alpine ecosystems. The good news is that technology, volunteers and doggos are coming to the rescue! Drones are surveying the mountains for infestations - (drones have searched 882ha in 17 days and found 4 new infestations - ...thats a 15mm orange flower detected from 30m in the sky!!) Along with brave weed detector dogs and volunteers surveying hundreds of kilometres of the landscape on foot, hawkweed’s days are numbered! I really enjoyed doing this commission (a sandwich wrap pattern and logo design I did recently for the National Parks Hawkweed Eradication Program). It’s great to hear there’s committed volunteers making our ecosystems healthy again. And it’s especially cool to see how dogs and drones are working together to keep our alpine areas safe! See more

24.01.2022 YES YES YES! In April, we heard that young Queenslanders from Youth Verdict launched Australia’s first human rights case to challenge Clive Palmer’s coal mine, and today young people who met as school strikers launched a case against the Federal Government over the expansion of Vickery coal mine! Young people are awesome, incredible, powerful and are going to save the day! #classaction4climate #schoolstrike4climate

24.01.2022 I drew that! So excited to see the little koala I drew last week on big posters around Sydney thanks to the Bob Brown Foundation. This little furry friend is calling on Gladys Berejiklian follow through and protect remaining forest habitat in NSW and save our koalas from the bulldozers and from extinction . Thank you to @ma.tthew947 for being my photographer. We both had the day off and so we went koala spotting around Sydney!

23.01.2022 Scott Morrison (ScoMo) really knows how to set the world on fire - today, it’s with possibly BILLIONS in public funds to prop up the dirty gas industry! Forget funding hospitals and schools, climate crisis HERE WE COME!

22.01.2022 After 4 minutes it was clear that Crumb School was not going to be a success.

22.01.2022 Hi folks, it’s 39 days until Christmas. This year it’s more important than ever to support local makers, creators, movers and shakers! This year has been tough for artists, so if you celebrate Christmas and you are buying gifts this year, keep it local and make your spending count. Gift local artists’ music, tickets to gigs, artworks, dance class subscriptions, pottery from your local makers’ space. Don’t give your $$ to Amazon, Jeff Bezos’ wealth surpassed $200 billion durin...g the pandemic! If you don’t have $ for gifting this year you can also do a gift free Christmas - presence, not presents! Here’s another idea: give blood for Christmas! Tomorrow I am releasing artworks that I’ve been working on ALL YEAR, (it’s going to feel good getting them out in the world!) You can buy them for Christmas if you like them. I’m also discounting my existing prints to celebrate the end of 2020 (haha bye bye 2020). Watch this space. Love from your local artist ‘n rabble rouser xxx See more

21.01.2022 Happy Birthday Mum! Hope you have a good day, I hope you like this artwork! There’s you and me, your bird friends, the bluegums and powerful owls you fight to protect, there’s the Taj Mahal and Opera House to represent your roots and your home in Sydney, there’s nasturtiums because they’re your favourite flowers, and a cup of tea and the best three sweets: a jalebi, a laddoo and a Rasmalai. Oh and a tiger because you care for all endangered creatures. Love you Mum You’re not on Instagram or Facebook so I’m not sure why I’m talking like this, I guess I’ll copy this into an email to you now Have a great day xx

17.01.2022 10 out of 10 health experts agree that Pokie machines should be fired into the sun. #flicktheswitch

16.01.2022 Despite the concerns of Traditional Owners and local farmers, the NSW Government Gladys Berejiklian approved 850 coal seam gas wells in the Pilliga State Forest, endangering water and against the wishes of local Traditional Owners. Gomeroi woman Polly Cutmore said First Nations people would try to fight the decision. She said The Pilliga is Gomeroi land and Santos is not welcome there. Let the Premier know what you think about her Government bowing to Scott Morrison (ScoMo)’s gas-led economic recovery!

16.01.2022 I haven’t put a on it

14.01.2022 Covid sucks but Melbourne you’re awesome x

12.01.2022 Why are we still trying to #StopAdani? Because this

11.01.2022 Happy Friday to all frogs!! Now here’s a curly question: what does this frog have to do with billionaire Clive Palmer? This Superb Collard Frog, found in the Bimblebox Nature Refuge, inhabits the very place that mining billionaire Clive Palmer wants to plonk a huge, dirty, mega-coal mine. You know that the world doesn’t need right now? Another billionaire building another coal mine. Thankfully the inspiring people at The Bimblebox Alliance are taking Clive’s mine to court to protect this little froggo as well a whole host of other endangered species that call the Bimblebox Nature Refuge home. I was happy to do this little design for The Bimblebox Alliance :)

11.01.2022 This is very taxing.

10.01.2022 I’m thinking of people in Victoria who are struggling right now, and everyone around the world who has been knocked for six by #coronavirus. We are keeping a light on for all of you, with love from Sydney.

10.01.2022 We can make this transition happen! Here’s my new commission for Ellen Sandell MP and Victorian Greens. Before doing this commission, I actually thought Victoria was doing much better than it is transitioning to renewable energy! There’s more work to do! Learn more @ www.victoriancoal.com.au

06.01.2022 Hey I drew a monster pokie machine in bed for the Alliance for Gambling Reform and Pokies Play You because it’s nuts you can play the pokies at 3AM. Pokies shouldn’t be available at any time if day - they are life threatening for people battling addiction and have no social benefit whatsoever, serving only the gaming lobby and wealthy club owners who profit from people’s addiction. They should be banished from the earth but until we manage that, there should at least be strict time restrictions so people can’t stay all night and put their precious life savings through them. Take action here > https://www.pokiesplayyou.org.au/reduced_opening_hours_vic #blowupthepokies #gamblingaddiction

06.01.2022 Mates, can you tell I really hate pokies? If anything shows how captured Government is by the $$ of a lobby group, while the community gets screwed over, pokie machines is it. Pokie machines ruin lives. Destroy families. They kill people. It’s time we #blowupthepokies. I was super pleased to do this illustration for the #allianceforgamblingreform. In May, the gambling lobby boasted it "heavily influenced" state government decision-making to get pokie rooms to reopen. Now with coronavirus cases climbing again, they’re going to want to be the last to close down. It’s clear they do not care one little bit about people’s health or wellbeing, they only want people’s live savings to come rolling into their coffers. Fire them into the sun.

05.01.2022 LOL @ my attempts to take nice photos of my artworks. Damn those photo-bombing parsnips!

05.01.2022 Can you imagine a future where koalas are extinct? Well that’s actually what is going to happen if we don’t protect koala habitat. Koalas that survived catastrophic bushfires over summer are now being bowled over by bulldozers. Gladys Berejiklian, the future of koalas are in your hands. I was super happy to do this poster for the Bob Brown Foundation for the koala day of action last weekend. I stand with koalas How about you?

05.01.2022 The #climatestrike looks a bit different this year - there’s no crowds but I’m still standing with @schoolstrikeforclimate and the majority of Australians who don’t want their lives to be plagued by climate impacts - like catastrophic bushfires, droughts, dangerous heatwaves and storms. We’ve done so well listening to experts this year on coronavirus, but it’s time to listen to them on climate too. However, @scottmorrisonmp put Nev Power, gas company head, in charge of t...he covid recovery. Then whaddyaknow - suddenly the economic recovery is going to be gas-powered. People are sick of this transparent shit, and sick of fossil fuel lobbyists running our democracy. Gas threatens water and Indigenous lands and wrecks the climate. We may not be gathering in our hundreds of thousands physically but we are still going to stand up against the fossil fuel lobby’s plans for a dirty and dangerous future. See more

05.01.2022 REALLY?! The @nswnationals are threatening to split from the Government... over protecting koalas. Over protecting remaining koalas that survived unprecedented and catastrophic bushfires over summer. Let’s just protect koala habitat already and stop using these little guys, who are facing extinction, as a political football.

04.01.2022 FIRST DAY OF SPRING TODAY! How’s your inner blossom going? We’re all a bit cranky-banky, but hopefully not too silly

03.01.2022 So stoked to do these posters for Democracy in Colour which are on digital billboards in LUSH Australia stores in Queensland, calling on politicians to support EVERYONE during the pandemic! Please follow @democracyincolour and if you want to be a good ally, chuck them some $$ so they can continue to do their important work! Some Federal politicians deliberately left 2 million temporary visa holders without any income support.... We need long term solutions for a global crisis. No matter where we come from, every person living in Australia should be able to pay rent and feed their families. Contact members of parliament to make sure no one is left behind. Go to: bit.ly/AntiRacistRebuildCampaign

02.01.2022 And we still love you (+ all of Victoria)

02.01.2022 Let’s keep saying it. We love you Melbourne. 700+ cases is terrifying. Thinking of you all. Stay home, stay safe xx
