18.01.2022 It’s time for us all to do our bit. With Christmas approaching, I can’t help thinking about how Amazon will make the best of it... it’s so easy right? You can l...iterally click and everything just arrives at your door It’s time to STOP and think... every purchase you make is a vote. What if you looked local? I was so impressed today when I called into @mackenziesfarmshop for a few ‘essentials’ (essentials for me at this time of year include the beautiful candles made by Gabby @purenaturaltherapy !). Everything looked gorgeous. A festive air was beginning to embrace this Nidderdale hub. All the fresh produce looked absolutely beautiful and the pantry stock was endless... theres no panic this lockdown with this just up the road! The display of gifts was so enticing that I’ll have no problem getting those essentials for Christmas - ones that won’t end up in landfill but useful, wholesome and local presents! If we wish our local shops to stay open we have to support them... Thank you @mackenziesfarmshop for providing a beautifully safe and plentiful store, with gorgeous, helpful staff and easy parking
17.01.2022 Hey Legends Sorry for being super quiet, I have had a few emails and messages asking me if I have closed my doors to wedding photography. The answer is no I have just been focusing more on the little things in life during in this different way of living. I have actually really appreciated spending more time with Mr Bagshaw and adventuring around Australia’s hidden gems. This has also given me a uplift of inspiration and drive for new and up coming ideas, which is a exactly w...hat I’ve needed after the last few year of weddings. I think it’s good as a creative to take a break when your feeling a little worn out. It’s now summer here in Sydney and I haven’t quite got my head around the seasons and what month it is?! 01.01.2022 As you all know it's been a awful time here in Australia, and it just didn't seem right posting work. But a few weeks ago I met up with a couple from the UK, and we headed up to the Vaucluse area for sunset. The beach was so tranquil and quiet with just us! With only the sound of boats slightly rocking and the sea breaking against the shore this was all very dreamy. On the horizon you can just make out the city of Sydney and the Harbour bridge, I feel incredible lucky to be... sharing this moment with one of my couples. Much Love JJ
