23.01.2022 First night away without the kiddies and we feel... like we’ve left something valuable behind or forgotten something important... But it’s only one day and the kiddies were very happy with my mum when we left... so that’s a comfort. Now to remember where the last five years have gone and what blessings they have brought us as a family. ... . . . #anniversary #fiveyears #mooloolababeach #husbandandwife #loveyou #blessed #thankyoulord

21.01.2022 Yesterday's Gluten Free Pizza was a delicious success! I used the Pizza Dough recipe on Cookidoo and added the Gluten Free flour instead of Bakers Flour with 50g extra flour content. Once it is has rested for 30 minutes the best results were to roll the dough, bake it for 10-12 minutes on 200 degrees, then add the toppings. ... Bake for a further 10 minutes on high. et Voila! #pizzalovers #glutenfreefood #thermomixconsultant I will attach the Gluten Free Pizza Dough recipe in the comments for you!

20.01.2022 "Repost!" Who here makes their own Bread? Thermo or no Thermo - it is always so helpful to know how we can improve our bread making skills.... And even learn new tricks! I have 3 top Bread Making Tips for you today plus one very easy trick! Tip number One: Don't raise bread dough in temperatures higher than 24 degrees. The best and most flavoured bread rises at cooler temperatures which means that if you are in a warmer climate zone - be sure to find a cooler place to raise your dough. ie the pantry or a cold oven. Tip number two: Make sure your bread flour is NOT EXPIRED or containing preservatives and bleach. Most white flours from the supermarket have the bran removed as well as the wheatgerm and these are the main ingredients your bread really needs! If you can, take the time to purchase good quality flour or even buy the grains of your choice and mill from scratch in your Thermomix. This way you know for sure what your flour contains. Tip number three: DO NOT OVER KNEAD and allow to rise without disturbance for a good hour. Once the dough is nested into your bread tin, then leave to rise again for no more than 30 mins and place into a cold oven to then begin the cooking. Now for a super awesome TRICK! I love a good crispy bread crust with a gorgeous soft, mouthwatering texture in the middle. To create these artisan styled breads, you can simply add a pan of water to the lower shelf of the oven and cook your bread dough above. The steam that results from the water will give the bread an extra crispy outer edge and provides that firm outside crust and soft inside. So there you have it! My bread making tips of the weeks. I hope this inspires you to go ahead and give your break making another chance. We love our homemade bread here and I feel better about eating a $2 bread loaf knowing that I have been in control of every single ingredient that went into it. Just another way to a healthier lifestyle.

13.01.2022 When it comes to being a full time mum life will seem crazy busy, on the go, and always exhausting. But I can’t help see the results we are having now from structuring our day at the start and giving our children a routine that keeps them grounded and secure. All three now go to sleep at the same time everyday and I get 3 hours to relax, wind down and get some chores done or do a little something for myself. ... Then I am refuelled and ready for the rest of the day! There is no calling higher than being Gods ambassador to my children.
