22.01.2022 Over the past few months I've been working on an excitingly challenging set of information designs to represent QUT Creative Industries course structures, unit structures and student experiences. This involved combining a whole lot of information into clear and interactive visuals, easily tailored to a vast number of units and courses, in an effort to replace lengthy word documents and excel spreadsheets. I'm thrilled with how it turned out, and I'll have the whole project up on my website (which, by the way, is due for a facelift in the coming months) in the next few days. For now, here are a few cheeky glimpses!

21.01.2022 In September I had the opportunity to visit Linz, Austria to display my work as part of the Futurelab Academy at Ars Electronica. It was an incredible, eye-opening experience, and now that I've had a chance to decompress I can see the monumental ripple effect it's had on my practice, perspective and objectives as a designer. As I start to pull it all/myself together, here are a few shots of the work (courtesy of Ars Electronica).

16.01.2022 Over the past eight-or-so months I've been reimagining the way that young people (in those awkward years between childhood and adulthood) search for mental health information online, using play theory to design novel user experiences. This was one of the outcomes a prototype demonstrating how play activities can enrich this process and hopefully aid in destigmatising the messy topic of mental health.

14.01.2022 I've been a bit MIA over the last few months while starting an honours degree, working as a UI/UX designer at the QUT Design Lab, working on a project as part of the Ars Electronica Academy and tutoring design on the side (all very exciting things!), so here's an aptly playful title GIF for my honours project, in which I'm exploring the concept of meaningful play in the context of e-mental health UX design.
