23.01.2022 You guys. This week has been so challenging. Both of my kids developed serious bouts of pharyngitis, and my youngest required not one, but two trips via ambulance to the hospital for breathing difficulties. Heart kid always gets sicker than most I have been scheduling pain relief, sleeping about 3 hours a night and not leaving my house (except to go to the hospital). Consequently not a lot of celebranting has been done. But the babes are on the mend, thank the stars! So thanks for sticking around! We are currently isolating to protect our Heartkid who ALWAYS goes down fast with a respiratory illness, so we have been resting, reading, playing outside on the grass, doing lots of creative projects and watching movies. The current social distancing restrictions stand thus: no gathering over 500 people outside. no gatherings of over 100 people inside. ... 09.01.2022 This photo of me was taken in 2011. I am reading a passage that I wrote for two dear friends, Melati and Luke, who got married in beautiful New Zealand. Their wedding was so intimate, so heartfelt and thoughtful, and the groom’s family performed a Haka in their honour. It was one of the most moving weddings I have ever had the pleasure of attending. It was also the first time I was involved in a wedding... Who knew that so many years later, I would be doing the marrying? Also, surely it’s time to renew your vows, right, guys? I WANT TO RELIVE THIS DAY!

09.01.2022 The chicken is out of the box! My fabulous red and white ensemble for Saturday’s top secret wedding spectacular was for the magnificent Harry + Kate’s @kfcaustralia wedding! They are the first of SIX couples WORLD-WIDE who WON their wedding, and it was SO MUCH FUN! They are such a quirky and rad couple, so this was absolutely perfect. Thanks for taking me along for the ride, lovely ones! (the video release link is on my Instagram profile for anybody interested in seeing Kate + Harry in their chicken-y glory. ) Thank you to EverlastStudios for their INSANE images. You did the most beautiful job of capturing Kate + Harry’s moments. You’re AWESOME!

03.01.2022 HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, LOVERS! This gorgeous kid needed a rest today after a tough week at school, which is awesome for me cos it means I get my little buddy back for Valentines Day! Today is also Sweetheart Day, or International Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Day! 8 babies are born every day with heart defects - that’s 1 in 100. It is still the leading cause of death in Australian Babies. HeartKids do an incredible job of supporting heart warriors and their families Feeling extra grateful for our Fox today. And I hope his cheeky grin and badass scar make your Valentines Day just a wee bit more rad

02.01.2022 Barney very nearly stole the show this afternoon. Aside from being the smooshiest snugglepot, he purposefully stood on the bride’s train as she was making her way down the aisle. She simply knelt down to give him a scritch and the groom walked out to pat him too, and also hold him so she could make a getaway. Dog people are the best people. Today’s ceremony damn near made me cry. A really beautiful afternoon at @aberfeldyfarmandbarn - an INCREDIBLE venue, especially if you have a country soul.
