24.01.2022 We all know that this year has been unexpected to say the least, but something that I've LOVED about it, is seeing all of these amazing innovative businesses popping up. People that have seen a gap, and have a solution to fill it (and have the guts to give it a go!). It's seriously the best! Cellina contact me a few months ago in regard to her new business venture - Beyond Year 12 and wanted some assistance bringing her new programs to life. Her business is all about people c...oming out of year 12 and need a little bit of help with which direction they want to head in. OR, for those who are wanting to pivot in their career and need some guidance on which way to go. We worked on creating some fun, interactive Activity Books that are designed for online use and targeted to a wide range of audiences. The best thing - it can all be done online! I encourage you to head over and have a look at the offering - it's a great start for anyone who is needing some prompts on their next direction. P.S. 15.01.2022 Sometimes when going through a big business change / launch / rebrand social media is the last thing on your mind - and rightly so! Stick to your passion and the things you love doing in your business and leave the socials up to a professional. I worked with the gorgeous team at @beautie_studio throughout their rebrand to help get them visually / social ready. This involved content curation, copywriting, graphic design and scheduling for their social media channels. We also b...umped up their social following and engagement and made sure that their socials were consistent with their new brand and new space (isn’t it gorgeous!). From here, I’ll hand it back over to them to handle, but will not leave them without direction. April is the month of Aphrodite, a Greek Goddess of love and beauty. April represents a time full of emergence and growth. I don't usually take on hand-drawn illustrations like this, but part of me wanted to go back to my 'art' roots and take some of my work off the screen. The process was sketching these ...figures, based on anatomical drawings, painting them with ink, scanning them, and tweaking them in Illustrator on the computer. 03.01.2022 Along with a new brand identity for @jenna_douglas, I recently helped bring her online presence to life. A website created to inspire, tell a story and embrace human experience. Websites are usually one of the first touch points of a brand, so making sure that your website is consistent with your branding, your tone-of-voice is telling the story you want, and that your user experience is top-notch is extremely important. And, of course, you want the goal of your website to be obvious, you don’t want your customers to have to hunt for information. We combined a range of magical colours and typefaces, along with some stunning imagery by @louiseagnew , to create Jenna’s online home.

03.01.2022 Something that I’ve always inspired to achieve through running my own business is to be as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible. Most of my work required me to use technology, whether it be via computer, camera, phone or printing. And I LOVE that, it’s part of what I love to do. But, little steps can make big impacts. Late last year, I took the plunge to be a carbon-neutral business, signing on with @our_trace . They help individuals, and businesses take climate action a...nd help you reduce and/or offset your carbon footprint. So far, I’ve been climate positive for 36 days and have planted 12 trees. My monthly donation has assist funding for wind power in New Caledonia, tree planting and wind farms in Taiwan. And I’ll also be looking at donating an extra percentage of my profit each month on top of this, and adding extra as my business evolves and expands. I 100% recommend touching base with Trace and talking to them about what you can do to help, they have plans that are as low as $15 per/month which helps you offset 10.5T CO2 per year and plant 60 trees, which is incredible. 03.01.2022 Where you'll find me for the rest of the year The end of the year is always a bit of a blur because we are all trying to get last-minute projects organised and completed - this is definitely the case for me, and I am LOVING IT. I still have to pinch myself that this is what I get to do for a living. But, in saying that, I cannot wait to have a couple of weeks off over Christmas, consume a lot of yummy food, drink festive drinks, and spend time with friends and family. ... Because I'm in the midst of wrapping up projects (and presents) at the moment, I'm slightly behind on replying to inquiries and emails, but I will get there! Maybe with a Margarita in hand
