14.01.2022 I love this. How do you measure your success?

12.01.2022 This is not always a simple one size fits all approach to healing all aspects of anxiety, panic and overwhelm. It is a case by case process to understand exactly what is going on for you but I will share a 3 step formula that helps every single person when the are very anxious and overwhelmed. Step 1. ... Breathe. When you are in the middle of a panic loop and your mind is going a million miles an hour you will be breathing in and out of your mouth. Normally your breathing will be fast and short. You are sending a signal to your body that you are afraid and ready to run. Your body is sending blood to your arms and legs getting you ready to get the heck out of what is scaring you. This is hard because what's scaring you is in your head. So you need to stop and breathe. In through your nose and count to 3. Hold in for 3 seconds and slowly breathe out your nose for 3 second. Do this for 3 rounds to calm yourself and then keep nose breathing. Step 2. Get a pen and something to write on. Anything will do and get every single thought in your head out on paper. Keep going even if your hand hurts. Even if you want to overthink what you are writing. Keep going. Dump all of your thoughts on the page. Step 3. Take a moment to decide what out of all you are thinking about needs to happen now. What can wait till later? What will make you feel the most satisfied right now? Don't question what it is you feel drawn to do. Take a few more rounds of breathing and when you are ready to do just one step start. Repeat as often as necessary.

05.01.2022 People run mostly on auto pilot. It's just what happens. You can go through a whole day and have been in trance for most of it. Before you know it the day is done. Exhaustion has kicked in and you get ready to start it all over again. ... Each step of each day you have an internal dialogue or script running. Sometimes the script is just a list of "to do's". Sometimes the script is all of your "should have done's". Sometimes it is all your "wish I could's". To learn about flipping the script we need to start listening to our script. For tomorrow actually slow down to hear your thoughts. Be aware of how you are running on auto-pilot. As you think a negative thought can you say it differently? Instead of I have to clean the kitchen? How beautiful will the kitchen feel when it is tidy? Instead of I am tired? Can you change it to my beautiful body needs some rest to refuel? Instead of I am so exhausted - I tried my best today and that wore me out. What if tomorrow is a little easier? Some great little tips is to start your new script with the following; What if... How beautiful, lucky, incredible... I wonder if... I tried to... I can... I am grateful that... Start with some listening first and gradually change your self talk. I pinky swear you will amaze yourself with how you talk sometimes. Listen, live, learn and grow.
