24.01.2022 Rest in power John Lewis Please Read. John Lewis wrote this essay shortly before his death, and asked that it be published upon the day of his funeral. Though I may not be here with you, I urge you to answer the highest calling of your heart and stand up for what you truly believe. In my life I have done all I can to demonstrate that the way of peace, the way of love and nonviolence is the more excellent way. Now it is your turn to let freedom ring.... #Repost @katiecouric @ Perth, Western Australia See more

19.01.2022 Happy 29th birthday Rachie babe! I hope you have the best time celebrating. I’m very lucky to have you in my life and I hope you know how proud I am of you. You are going to make an incredible pediatric surgeon and help so many people! I’m so glad we got to tick cape to cape off the bucket list together before you fly off to NZ. Love you sister xoxo

10.01.2022 Women belong in all places where decisions are being made. Amen. Rest in Power Queen. Today is a very sad day. After hearing the news this morning I couldn’t help but cry. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was the second woman to serve on the US Supreme Court and was a powerful force that paved the way for women’s rights. ... A champion Supreme Court Justice, icon and trailblazer she fought for justice and equality for all and I encourage everyone to honour her memory by continuing to stand up for what is right and helping those that are less fortunate. I’ve just finished rewatching the documentary RBG and if you haven’t seen it already I highly recommend it’s on foxtel now. It’s inspiring and empowering and has ignited the spark in me to continue the good fight just like Ruth did for her 87 years. I will try to do so in a way that will inspire others to join me and try not to respond in anger but rather see each act of resistance as an opportunity to teach. Thank you for your service RBG it is because of women like you that I am able to advocate and fight for justice on behalf of my clients. Fight on. May your memory be a revolution for equality for all. #notoriousrbg #riprbg #womensrights #equalityforall

08.01.2022 What a time to be alive! Historic moment for women everywhere!! Congratulations @kamalaharris you are a queen thank you for speaking up for women and girls around the world!! #Repost @nytimes Kamala Harris has made history as the first woman, the first Black person and the first person of Indian descent to be elected vice president. Harris, 56, has risen higher in the country’s leadership than any woman ever, a feat that underscores the extraordinary arc of he...r political career. A former San Francisco district attorney, she was elected as the first Black woman to serve as California’s attorney general. When she was elected a United States senator in 2016, she became only the second Black woman in the chamber’s history. The daughter of a Jamaican father and Indian mother, Harris embodies the future of a country that is growing more racially diverse every year, even if the person voters picked for the top of the ticket is a 77-year-old white man.
