23.01.2022 A simple yet fun activity today! - recycled containers - Nullarbor beads - tongs... The children learnt so much from this one activity today: - counting (how many beads fit Into each Containers) - fine motor skills (tongs) - the volume of each container! - opening and closing the container - sound (each container made different sounds when dropping/shaking with beads inside)

18.01.2022 Alot has changed over the last few weeks with the government and the new childcare package. Im thankful to be surrounded by amazing families and amazing children. I love my job and I love the smiles of my beautiful daycare child I welcome into my house each day. They have been so creative over the school holidays whilest we have been stuck at home and not going on our regular outings Im so proud to help guide them through some challengesI cant do it Jess or its to hard... I give up Jess It has also taught me not to give up, to keep on going through this unknown time and to keep on fighting because its not forever. 08.01.2022 Today we talked to the children about Remembrance Day and the meaning of the poppies. The children had fun making these poppies ready for our minute of silence at 11.00am. All the children did a fantastic job at sitting silently holding their poppies remembering all the soldiers who lost their lives.

04.01.2022 Halloween Celebrations Halloween is always so much fun the children have enjoyed being creative using scissors and lots of glue to create ghosts, skeletons and spiders. We have also incoroprated sensory play into our learning allowing children to explore different textures such as insects and ice, play dough and insects, digging into ice to free the insects.... Role play was also incorporated allowing the children to dress up in Halloween costumes and wear masks to be creepy and scary monsters.

These play spaces arw inspired by childrens interests and spontaneous play ideas Ive ryse last couple of weeks. - tree house, my little ponys and gems a little magical wonderland to explore and for the children to use there imaginations - trains, Ferris wheel and little wood people a great space to role play and use there imaginations.... - vets table the children love caring for animals and now they can role play being a vet and taking care of cats and dogs. - home corner and dress his the children are dolls obsessed and have been interested in pushing dolls in prams and carrying them. Now the children. Can experience bottle feeding there babys and putting them to bed. There are also have some great dress up costumes for the children to wear.

04.01.2022 Some fantastic recycled box creations were made yesterday! We have been learning about recycling and how we can help save our planet! The children used their imagination, lots of sticky tape, glue and recycled objects to creat their box monsters! Well Done
