Fix your form and get the results you deserve You will hear a lot of PTs say things like knees out when you squat what they means is pushing your thighs out to activate your glutes.... Think of a squat like you are sitting on a chair behind you. I actually use this as a method to teach people how to squat properly. Do it now stand up, feet hip width apart, hands out in front of you, slowly lowering down shooting your butt back and knees out until you sit down then stand back up pushing your knees out engaging your glutes and do it all over again ! Let me know how you go
