21.01.2022 To all Jessson Flowers customers Mother's Day is fast approaching; however, 2020 is proving to be very challenging as Covid-19 will affect the way we celebrate this special day. As each day passes during this epidemic certain restriction have been and are being lifted; however, the concerns we had regarding the availability of imported flowers are starting to become a reality. Our importers have been informed that there will be limited cargo space available on planes arrivi...ng in Australia, as Mothers Day approaches. Additionally, the strict quarantine laws are remaining in place, which will severely limit the availability of imported flowers. This places higher demand on local produce, which again will limit the quantity of local flowers we will have at our disposal. We want to forewarn our customers as this situation develops, and again suggest to order your mothers day flowers as early as possible, to try and avoid any disappointment. Unfortunately, this situation is unavoidable and remains unpredictable. Therefore, we ask everyone for their understanding and their patience during this difficult time, and we assure all our valuable customers that we will do everything in our power to try and meet everyones expectations. 21.01.2022 Over the past few days we have had many sad phone calls from people who are unable to visit parents, grandparents or loved ones due to nursing homes and aged care facilities going into lockdown or being in isolation at home. Therefore missing out on Birthdays, Anniversarys or even just having the chance to give them a hug to let them know things will be okay. We have been busy creating little hampers for people to send to their loved ones to let them know they are loved and being thought of during these difficult times and always. 08.01.2022 Its the day after Mother's Day and everyone at Jesson Flowers would like to thank all our wonderful customers for their patience, their understanding and their very courteous behaviour on what was a difficult situation and a difficult day. We had a record number of customers come through the shop on both Saturday and Sunday, unfortunately we had limited fresh flowers to try and cover what people wanted to buy. 06.01.2022 To all our Jessson Flowers customers PLEASE READ Mother's Day is fast approaching; however, 2020 is proving to be very challenging as Covid-19 will affect the way we celebrate this special day. As the situation continues to change on a daily basis, we need to be proactive, implementing changes to the way, as a shop, we trade. We can then hopefully provide the Fresh Flowers and Gifts which this year will be even more important, as visiting and spending quality time with your... mum may become difficult. As visitors to our shop will be aware, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day can become extremely chaotic, with many customers visiting the shop at the same time. Consequently, this Mothers Day "Social distancing" is not only the new buzzword, but this week will become a legal requirement, and of course is important and integral to keeping us all safe. Therefore, we suggest instead of leaving it until late in the week when the amount of customers entering the shop at any one time will have to be controlled, ordering by phone or visiting the shop early, or alternatively and more preferable the week before Mothers Day week, will allow us to be more in control, making sure every customer can purchase the flowers of gifts they want for their mums. Unfortunately, at this uncertain time, we are unsure of what Fresh Flowers will be available, and in what quantities. As always we will endeavour to provide quality flowers and gifts for everyone who wants them, and with the help and patience of all our customers, we are sure this achievable.
