25.01.2022 You may well be aware that I can no longer draw with my right hand because of an injury. You may not be aware that I spent my quarantine time (plus a few months) learning how to draw left-handed and I'm ready to share some new work with you!

24.01.2022 It's been too long between exhibitions! I'll have a left handed original and some brand new prints for you, and Left Barrel Brewing will have the beer and good times. Michael Wright, Sienna Blok Art, and Jo Gardiner will also have goodies for you. If you want to get out, go for a drive, and support local artists and a microbrewery at the same time, this will be a good way to do it!

20.01.2022 Don't miss out on this great afternoon, Sunday 22nd November, book your place now, it's a free exhibition but you need to book

20.01.2022 This guy is still looking for a home. He's the last original piece that I have, and he's looking really lonely on my wall. Kahe/Beetle $465 40 x 30 cm Indian ink and gold leaf on deer hide parchment... Handmade reclaimed jarrah frame This beetle was drawn as part of an exhibition called 'Introducing', which posed the question "what is the difference between a cane toad and a human being?" It contemplated cultures and species which have been introduced to Australia, the reasons for and impact of their introduction, the often arbitrary ways in which we choose to celebrate some while others are vilified, and the point at which they become part of our ecosystem. This beetle is a success story, and proudly wears a design inspired by Hawaiian body art. This species was introduced first from Africa to Hawaii, and then from Hawaii to Australia to deal with the (introduced) cattle dung covering our farmland. There were strict criteria to meet in selecting a suitable species, and fortunately for our ecosystem, the Onthophagus gazella met them all.

18.01.2022 Come and find me on the pier in Glenelg this sunny Sunday. I'll have some new little treasures for you

15.01.2022 Most of you probably know that I haven't been able to draw with my right hand for quite some time. You probably also know that I have another hand! My very first left-handed drawing is up for sale this weekend to help raise money for healing services to the first responders, affected families and the Kangaroo Island community following the recent bushfires.

11.01.2022 This guy is also a new print! www.jessicapatrickartist.com/prints/armadillo

09.01.2022 I had the pleasure of working on this project of Adam Minkoff's recently. Adam is a monstrously talented individual. He's been arranging and recording an Ennio Morricone piece every week in honour of his 90th birthday. A lot of wonderfully impressive people have worked on this project, and you can experience it all for yourself on bandcamp. I highly recommend it. I'll even post the link in the comments for you to make it really easy.

07.01.2022 Here is my contribution to the Healing Arts Bushfire Appeal Exhibition at the Fleurieu Arthouse this Sunday. It'll be up for two weeks alongside artwork from thirty other beautiful artists. Get along and show your support if you can! (I drew this guy with my left hand since my drawing hand is still injured)
