24.01.2022 FUN FACT FRIYAY DID YOU KNOW ?? Exfoliating your skin after waxing helps lower the risk of developing painful ingrown hairs. Wait at least 2-3 days after your appointment before exfoliating. This allows redness and soreness to dissipate and gives any open pores the time they need to close up. 23.01.2022 Protocols for Virus at Jess's Waxing & Beauty Obviously the world is in a state of panic, precaution & now lockdown due to Corona Virus. I believe it's inevitable we are going to get sick at some stage here in Broome as we cannot completely control sanitisation outside of our own spaces. ... In saying that, with all the government regulations in place currently in WA with the closures of most social establishments, Jess's Waxing & Beauty Broome will remain OPEN with strict conditions. I would like all of my clients to understand that I work in a very private space on your body, for a living, in my own home. So I expect a high level of cleanliness from you prior to an appointment with me. GUIDELINES: 1. If you are SICK or FEELING UNWELL, please stay at home and cancel your appt asap. 2. I will not charging cancellations fees until the crisis is over. 3. If and when you arrive for an appt please avoid touching anything unnecessary. 4. For my own precautions, I will not be permitting the use of the amenities. 5. Do NOT attend an appt if you are in quarantine. 6. I will be conducting thorough screening for any NEW clients and you are expected to answer truthfully. I can and will use the authority to refuse an appt if I'm not satisfied by the screening. 7. I will refuse you of your service and charge a FULL FEE if you show up and are SICK! 8. Please USE the sanitisation products I have provided prior to commencing treatment. 9. If I get sick I will be cancelling all appts until further notice. Please remember in times of crisis we need to support each other. This is affecting us all in a major way.... The adjustment from shop salon to home salon was a big change for me and all of you beautiful people took it in your stride to follow on and help me rebuild from what was a disaster of a year in 2019.
