24.01.2022 Today the Mark McGowan State Government has announced a host of initiatives as part of the COVID recovery plan. It is big news for bike riding and in particular... mountain biking. Some of the key projects include: - $12.78 million to create a trails town in the Great Southern; - $2.24 million to improve walk and cycle trails in the Great Southern; - $2.02 million for new and upgraded trails at the Goat Farm; Kalamunda and Beelu National Park; - $1.1 million to complete the renewal and extension of shared paths in Point Peron - $40k for trail planning in Pemberton - $350,000 to commence the rebuild of the Pines trails in Margaret River - $1.19m to upgrades on the Bibbulmun and Munda Biddi trails in the Great Southern; South West and Peel regions.
