23.01.2022 Last Tuesday was patch Tuesday for Microsoft, this is the day they release a whole bundle of updates for your computer. This may seem annoying as "it is always updating something" but this month Microsoft has had to fix some big problems that other people can use to get into your computer. So remember click the Start Menu=>click All Programs=>click Windows Update. Microsoft repaired 23 vulnerabilities this month, fixing critical flaws in Internet Explorer, the Windows kernel and a serious error in the C runtime library that could be targeted by attackers using Windows Media Player.

11.01.2022 Beware of Fake Microsoft Outlook Update E-mails. There is an e-mail going around that comes in through Outlook Express that states you need an urgent update from Microsoft. The E-mail will contain a so called fix, but when you run the attachment you will then have infected your computer. Microsoft recomends you only do your updates through their Windows Update page. Please keep an eye out for this E-mail and delete it as soon as posible. Keep Safe.

01.01.2022 The respected FedEx brand has recently been misused by individuals who are sending a rash of fraudulent emails containing a virus that claim a FedEx package could not be delivered. The email asks the receiver to open an attachment in order to obtain the invoice for picking up the package. DO NOT OPEN the attachment. DELETE the email immediately. When FedEx sends an email with tracking updates for undeliverable packages, the message does not contain any sort of attachment. We recommend that customers refer to important information on how to protect themselves from fraudulent emails located at www.fedex.com/us/fraud.
