24.01.2022 The best exercise

24.01.2022 26 days to go and over $2860 raised. To now we have clocked over 500 kms in training and spent over 100 hours together walking. We have enjoyed our journey so far, but there is still a long way to go. I am extremely proud of my team and couldn’t think of a better bunch of guys to share this journey with. It’s not too late to support our cause so if you can please sponsor us. http://oxf.tw/34513

24.01.2022 TRX fun TRX Training

23.01.2022 Solid weekend of walking. Saturday was a nice stroll in the Mount Annan Botanical Gardens. Thanks to Jacinta and Gemma for joining us. Sunday, however, was a different story. Spiro took us to Wentworth Falls for the Kedumba Walk. It was easily the toughest walk so far, but a good test for our team. Thanks to Julie, Dave and Hatto for the company. We have 47 more days to go before our big walk. Thanks for all the support, well wishes and sponsorship so far. Now for our debrief at a local cafe. http://oxf.tw/34513

22.01.2022 Same action from our walk tonight.

20.01.2022 I know it’s been a while since I have posted. However whilst training yesterday Ashleigh and Deonie once again accepted one of my challenges. To say I was impressed is an understatement but these ladies are testament to the theory that hard work and committed pay off. Well done and keep up the good work.

16.01.2022 Another great night walk and the last of our big walks in preparation for next fortnight’s Oxfam 100. Stage 3 of the course. Berowra to Bobbin Head. Just over 2...0kms, 30,000 steps, 164 floors of climbing and just under 7 hours of walking. Now that we have walked almost half the course, it is clear that this is definitely going to be the toughest thing I’ve ever done. A mental challenge to overcome the pain but looking forward to tapering off the training. Not too late to sponsor us. Please click on: http://oxf.tw/34513

12.01.2022 Oxfam 100 Day is finally here! Some Live Photo’s for all of our supporters as we go. Stay tuned! Not too late to sponsor us. Please click on: http://oxf.tw/34513

05.01.2022 Another great walk last night. Took on Section 3 (and part of section 2) of the actual walk set out by Oxfam. Smashed out over 20kms on a cold windy night. Everyone was is good spirits throughout the walk and we are looking forward to the challenge of 100kms in a fortnight. Still not too late to sponsor us. http://oxf.tw/34513

04.01.2022 Another night time hit out to prepare for Oxfam 100 walk. 23.1kms. 35,000 steps and 69 floors climbed. 5 hours of walking. Well done boys!

02.01.2022 DO NOT, we repeat: DO NOT try this when you get back into the gym

01.01.2022 Reality is really starting to kick in. We are three days away from our biggest physical and mental challenge as a team. Training is complete and know it’s just a matter of getting our mindset right for the walk. 100 kms in 30-35 hours along the beautiful north coast. We all really want to thank everyone who has made a donation or given us some encouragement. Our target has been revised to $5000 and we are hoping to raise another $1500 over the next few days. You can track our walk and make a donation through the link below. Thanks again and looking forward to sharing more of our journey with you. http://oxf.tw/34513

01.01.2022 I don’t need public recognition but it’s nice when you get it. Well done to the JET Fitness Oxfam team consisting of Simon Abernethy, Damian Sligar, Spiro Zakris, Chris Whicker and myself. I would also like to thank everyone who has supported us through their kind donations. Just 50 days to go. If you would like to sponsor us, please click on the link below. http://oxf.tw/34513
