12.01.2022 Mechanical/Structural Design Draftsperson Don’t just draw it be part of creating it! Jet Group are industrial problem solvers. We build highly customised machinery in small batch sizes for clients in the mining and construction industries. We use 3D drafting to do prototyping on the computer screen, allowing us to move from problem to finished product in the shortest possible time frame.... Our drafting team are heavily involved in every step of the manufacturing process from measuring up on site, to designing and drafting the product, to monitoring the fabrication process. We are currently looking for an experienced Draughtsperson to join our team. This role will be responsible for design, and producing fabrication drawings for new products, and modifications to existing. The successful applicant will have a some years’ experience in 3D drafting using Solid Works. Previous experience in a fabrication environment, and or the coal mining industry is preferred, but not essential. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, be able to work independently, have a high level of attention to detail, and strong organisational skills. The position is based in our Mackay office, with some site work. Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
