25.01.2022 Doomsday Effects Pedals Built on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland this Australian guitar pedal company has kicked off with an absolutely fantastic pair of pedal...s on offer. These custom pedals are designed and built by Matt Shorter of Australian alternative metal band Darkcell. Matt has extensive certified experience building electrical equipment as well as audio engineering and it shows with the remarkable quality of these units. The HVY MTL is their take on the famous Boss HM2 pedal which of course is behind that wonderful Swedish Death metal sound made famous by Entombed and Dismember. The pedals are of a very sturdy design with cool artwork featured on the pedals. How does it sound? Well it sounds so good I personally secured one immediately for my own band, scoring number 6 of the first batch of 12. Presale on batch 2 is currently underway and if its an extreme sound you're after then go no further as these babies have a crunch that needs to be heard to be believed. It will be my absolute pleasure to introduce new customers and stores to these exciting new instruments and Im very excited for the journey as well. 2020 is the year of new opportunities and this year Ive hung up my hat as the sales territory manager for Maton Guitars, this is a role that Ive enjoyed for the last 15 years but it was time to move on and try new ventures.
