25.01.2022 ***** COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT***** Lets talk about bidet sprays! We have been getting a lot of calls regarding bidet sprays and the like. In Australia, especially Melbourne we have great drinking water compared to the rest of the world. These sprays require RPZD (backflow prevention device) to eliminate backflow from the content people are spraying to prevent contaminating your own and the communitys drinking water.... RPZD valves cost $600 plus labour and need to be serviced once a year! I have attached some DIY installations so you know what to look out for.

23.01.2022 We are currently re-commissioning a hothouse. This isnt just any hothouse, 30 years ago it was built by a team from the Netherlands and it was the only one of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Water is pumped 150 meters through 50mm copper line, that were re-running with 15mm tees pulled into a wet wall, large fans regulate the temperature to .1 of a degree so that the plants, in this case tomatoes grow to their full potential. When this warehouse is full it can hold over a million tomato plants!

11.01.2022 Its not every day you receive an emergency call to retrieve a ring in the sewer, but today was the day!!! We inspected the sewer with a Ridgid mini reel camera to locate the ring, then with a bit of luck, time and improvising WE DID IT RIDGID Australia

09.01.2022 Jet Plus Plumbing have partnered up with Master Plumbers to complete TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) specialised classes. These valves deliver tempered water for aged care, child care and hospitals. Over 300 children aged 0-4 years were admitted to hospital last year with serious scalds due to hot water.

08.01.2022 Great to see some of our builders and landscapers getting drain surveying done prior to jobs starting. Today we found broken and damaged sewer pipes, which in a few weeks time these damaged pipes would have been under a tennis court, driveway and landscaping costing big money to fix after the fact. Little upfront cost for peace of mind.

01.01.2022 Whoa, what a fatberg! This 42 tonne fatberg discovered in our sewer system was caused by the surge in wet wipes, rags, tissues, paper towels and sanitary pr...oducts being flushed recently. It took the crew 9 hours to dislodge and remove this enormous blockage (thanks team!). Flushing anything other than pee, poo and toilet paper can lead to these fatbergs (blockages) forming and damaging sewer pipes. Keep the fatberg away - if you need to use alternatives to toilet paper, please put them in the bin.
