24.01.2022 Outdoor Training has been a hit this week from our littlest members enjoying a Dino themed class, our budding Ninjas jumping their way through the week and our Senior Squads enjoyed being back on the beam for the first time in months. More classes are now online for our Regional Members so book quickly as spots are limited!

21.01.2022 2020 Judy Shapcott Award In lieu of a squad awards night our 2020 awards were distributed on Saturday Afternoon as part of our Squad Spectacular. In 2019 Jets Gisborne sadly lost our amazing manager of more than 10 years to illness a loss that still rocks our Jets Family today. ... The Judy Shapcott award is awarded to the Squad Gymnast who best represents the qualities that Judy herself portrayed and also valued in the staff and gymnasts she mentored: Passion, Dedication and Respect. This years recipient was unanimously voted for by the senior coaching team. Congratulations Sienna! Despite an injury that was likely to see her sidelined for the bulk of 2020 Sienna’s dedication to her gymnastics was unwavering. She never missed a class, or a zoom session and as a result I am certain her return to full capacity will come faster than ever anticipated. Her passion to her sport is evident every time she enters the gym, always smiling, always happy to be there and always ready to put in 110%. Sienna shows a maturity and respect towards her coaches, teammates and the gym wel beyond her years and I know that Judy would be immensely proud of both the gymnast and the young lady she has grown up to be. The coaches were a bit too emotional to make a speech on Saturday but we are all so proud of you Sienna and we hope you continue to be a leader in your team and our program. On behalf of the Jets Coaches and Judy’s family; Congratulations

05.01.2022 Jets Gisborne would like to acknowledge the huge contribution of our retiring gymnasts for 2020. Both Zoe and Hayley have been members of Jets Gymnastics for over 10 years and their dedication, enthusiasm and spirit have been an asset to our squad team. 2020 has been a hard year to finish such a huge career on but are very proud of both girls and all they have achieved.... Well done girls - don’t be strangers at the gym!

03.01.2022 Meet our NEW OWNERS! "I'm James and this is my amazing family, my wife Sonia and our three children; Isla (5yrs), Wyatt (3yrs) and Ezra (1yr). Jets has been a h...uge and positive part of our lives, I have worked here the last 16 years and Sonia for the last 11 years. I started as a Jets Gymnast myself and both of us went through the Junior Coaching Program and worked our way to management. Oh and somewhere amongst all that we started working together and fell in love! We couldn't think of a better place for our three children to grow up, a place that has always felt like family. In many ways we have grown up at Jets and it has shaped our passion to have a positive impact on others, just as it has for everyone who works here. We can't wait to meet you and hope that we can have a positive impact on your family during your time with us at Jets!"
