19.01.2022 We're super happy to have Steven come over and try out our new EFI - Swift, I can't wait to get him in it Steve's been one of our most successful WA based customers over the last 10 years and a terrific ambassador for us also. I've always had a little crush about the way he conducts himself both on an off track and have no doubts no matter where we finish, he will have given it his best shot possible

02.01.2022 Well another season in the books, another Tulsa Shoot Out come and gone. Lots of new faces, lots of old friends. I think we need to discuss what has been one of... the biggest complaints and most misunderstood issues over the last season. I've been asked over and over and see the same problems popping up time and time again and that is Fuel Injection!! While the technology is not new and the parts and pieces may look a little different, the function hasn't changed in 20 years. And while recent advances in software and technology have made it possible to fine tune your motor to a degree not possible before, the plain and simple truth is that without the ability to log real time data, such as with a mychron, you are fighting an uphill battle. It makes no difference if you are using mechanical or electronic injection, you have to know what is happening at all times. You can't begin to diagnose a running problem without knowing a few basic parameters. You have to have a minimum of three but preferably five important streams of data to make educated adjustments to your fuel delivery. TPS, RPM's and Lambda are absolutely necessary! Fuel pressure and engine temperature are also very important. Fuel pressure is critical to mechanical injection and a huge part in electronic injection. As little as a 2-3 psi difference in fuel pressure on electronic injection can cause a 3-5% change in your fuel mapping. And with mechanical injection the fuel pressure is adjusted through the various bypasses to tune the fuel curve. The water temp also has an effect on your tune up. A perfect tune at 180 will be overly rich at 220. The best advice I can give is if you don't have or can't afford a good data logger, and the knowledge of how to use it effectively, you can save yourself a lot of headaches and DNF's by getting a good set of carbs and a good maintenance routine. Good luck to all those in the 2017 racing season. Be smart and be safe!!!! See more
