21.01.2022 This is the stock Yamaha ECU’s electronic version of Donny Schatz and company’s ability to control the throttle, it makes motors in a very unhappy part of the rev range bearable, but it comes at the cost of feel, as shown in the video, with drive by wire you have no direct connection to the throttle, it’s all driven electronically through the ECU.

19.01.2022 It looks like everyone had a great night for the opening of the southern Queensland season at Toowoomba last weekend. It was probably no surprise Liam ran away and hid again, however the race for 2-3-4 and 5 was really good. Ultimately Brady Argles drove a great race around the bottom to finish 2nd, Kristin Brown ran the top (with no RF torsion arm) and was a really strong 3rd, Rookie Ryan Newton was super impressive after starting rear all night to run home 4th and Tarhlea Apelt rounded out the top 5. That gave us a GEN2.1 1-2-3-4 and a GEN2.0 in 5th. On top of that Liam smashed the record with one of R6R’s turning laps in the 11 second bracket.

18.01.2022 Did you know? In early 2018 Danny Carroll from Sacramento CA became the first guy in America to run our GEN2 EFI, he won races and a track championship that year on a bone stock 599 straight from a crashed bikeand it’s never been near a dyno for tuning, and never once had an EFI issue.

17.01.2022 This is our new R6R A class EFI, just like our GEN2 it’s very light, very simple and takes up no more room than a set of carbs, the main difference is it runs the stock Yamaha coil, this should make it legal everywhere with a stock coil rule. We’re looking at supply it with either our data logging type ECU or a very simple non logging system, we hope to be able to have them delivered to your door race ready for somewhere between $2600 and $3000USD. The results shown below wer...e recorded on our bone stock 2007 dyno motor and the comparison was made against our carb and ignition combination. 16.01.2022 As I’ve mentioned before we’ve been working hard on a upgrade for our existing customers that gives a higher torque and more forgiving injector spec and tune up. We’ve wound up with 2 options both include a new throttle cable drum for a little more feel right off closed throttle, and both include a new set of ram tubes to suit the Walker carb style air cleaner, labour and return post, however Kit A also includes a new set of runners as well. The comparison I’ve included shows... a motor with last years tune and hardware, it’s a little down on peak torque compared to when it left here the first time but it’s also done a seasons work, including some wins. I simply hooked up and ran this motor as it has been running, then went in changed the injection assembly, loaded the new tune and went again, there wouldn’t have been 15 minutes between test’s or 10f difference in temps. After 500 plus litres of fuel I’m really happy with the gains, I’m sure I’ll flatten out the top end a little more as well, these numbers were also recorded with stock set of schoenfeld headers. Kit A: $1500 Kit B: $800 The video just shows our poor little 2006 dyno motor500liters is a lot of fuel when you’re doing this all day!

11.01.2022 We now have our replacement close ratio 4th gear back in stock to suit the 2006-2020 R6R Yamaha , these allow you to gear for the bottom in 3rd and if you have to move to the top, you can shift into our 4th and it's the equivalent to taking a 1.25 teeth off the back or dropping around 350-400rpm. We've been using the same gears now for 10 years and have never had one failure or set wear out yet. These would be great in any rpm limited class's that requires a full gearbox, and any serious Outlaw build :) $520USD delivered to your door or $722 plus GST Thanks Steve

10.01.2022 Getting closer After basically having the whole year off, Dan Mognaga with his GEN2.1 ran second last week first night out. This week he went quick time at Delta CA and was running a comfortable 3rd in a tough field until they had some trouble with the bottom end a few laps from home.

05.01.2022 After switching to our GEN2 EFI Kaydon Iverson has a had pretty solid run too, starting last year with winning his first 600 speedweek title using one of R6R's and GEN2, this year he's also had 3 wins from 3 starts and he dropped out while leading the 4th race.
