11.01.2022 "Do this stretch before your next upper body workout Because we spend so much time in front of screens (especially working from home) its more than likely that youll encounter an episode of back pain. One of the reasons people experience chronic pain is due to lack of mobility. Mobility isnt just about flexibility you can be flexible, but still lack the strength to move to full range of motion. Heres how to perform the Open Book Stretch:... Lay on your side with your knees bent at 90 degrees. Breathe in as you move your top arm across your body and turn your head and shoulders with it, keeping your knees firmly placed on the floor. Breathe out as you hold the stretch for around ten to fifteen seconds, then return to the start and repeat 10 times. You should feel a pretty decent (but pleasant) stretch throughout your upper body. Keeping your abs activated when you perform this will be important for lower back stability and this stretch is an important primer for upper-body movement, especially exercises such as the overhead press, where many people tend to extend at the lower back to compensate for their lack of thoracic and shoulder mobility. If youre new to stretching in general, begin slowly never force a stretch! Start by holding each stretch for 20 to 30 seconds and dont forget to b r e a t h e. If youre not sure how to stretch safely, if youve had surgery or an injury, or have pain in your lower body, chat to a Jetts Team Member before doing any glute stretches. #jetts #jettsathome #stretching"

08.01.2022 Spring has Sprung and we love all the fresh recipes you are sharing! CHICKEN TIKKA SALAD INGREDIENTS... 4 skinless chicken thigh fillets 2 tbs olive oil 1/4 cup (60g) tikka masala sauce 1 bunch baby carrots, trimmed, thinly sliced lengthways 2 tsp apple cider vinegar 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced 4 baby cucumbers (cukes), halved lengthways 1 avocado, cut into wedges 1/2 cup loosely packed coriander sprigs 1/2 cup loosely packed mint leaves Thinly sliced green chilli, lime wedges, lime pickle and Greek yoghurt, to serve. METHOD 1. Preheat oven to 220C. Grease a baking tray and line with foil. Top with a greased ovenproof wire rack. 2. Place chicken in a bowl. Rub with oil and tikka masala sauce. Place on prepared rack and place rack and tray on top shelf of oven. Roast for 22 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. 3. Meanwhile, place carrot, vinegar and 1/2 tsp salt flakes in a bowl and toss to combine. Set aside to pickle slightly. 4. Thickly slice chicken and divide among serving plates. Add pickled carrot, onion, cucumber, avocado, herbs, chilli and lime. 5. Can have as a salad or try with wraps!

Choc Butterscotch bark! 12 servings... 134cals per serve Ingredients: 1 Packet Sugar free butterscotch candies (90g) 1 & 1/2 cups pretzels (chopped) 1 & 3/4 cups dark choc chips Method: 1. Line a square cake tin with baking paper 2. Place unwrapped butterscotch candies into snap lock bag, cover with a tea towel and gently hit with a rolling pin to turn candies into shards 3. Sprinkle candies and pretzels into the cake tin. 4. Melt chocolate in microwave for 30seconds at a time until smooth. 5. Pour melted chocolate evenly into the tin. 6. Place tray into freezer to set for 10mins 7.Using a hot sharp knife cut into 12 even peices. 8. Store in airtight container in the fridge :)
