DAY Myself and Bonnie sat down in the front yard to discuss some helpful tips for managing your mental health during lockdown Focusing on your mental health during lockdown: 1. Get outside each day for at least 30minutes of fresh air and exercise (walk, run, yoga or home workout)... 2. Stay connected with friends and family each day 3. Reach out for help if you’re not ok to friends or family, GP, counsellor, psychologist or mental health helplines 4. Establish a daily routine, get up each day and shower or wash your face and put on clean clothes (dress for the social life you want, not the social life you have) 5. Notice the good things. Each day ask yourself and those around you to think of the things you are grateful for or that made you smile.
