06.01.2022 2021 PLANNING Do you find it hard to set personal goals AND stick to them? Consider these simple tips when it comes to fitness goals: Don't just set a goal because everyone else is doing it - make sure your goal motivates YOU!... Make sure your goal is 'SMART'.. That means it's Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time bound Get out a pen and write it down. That way they feel real and tangible... Plus, then there is no excuse to forget them Make an action plan (or use ours!). Sometimes you get so focused on the outcome that you forget to plan all of the steps that are needed along the way! By writing out all of the individual steps, and then crossing each one off as you complete it, you'll realise that you are making progress towards your ultimate goal! Stick with it! Remember: goal setting is an ongoing activity so build in reminders to keep yourself on track, and regularly review your goal. Your end destination may remain quite similar over the long term, but the action plan you set for yourself along the way can change significantly!
