This technique may also be used during the day if you wish to take a nap or need to catch up on rest, or to give your mind and body a time of intentional rest and relaxation. Lie down on a bed or somewhere comfortable and close your eyes. Let your thoughts come and go. Release any and all expectations of what you should feel, or what you should do theres no need ...to try to do anything at all, just allow this time to be whatever it is. When you are ready, focus on your breathing. Breathe in deeply through your nose for the count of 5, hold for 5 seconds and then exhale slowly to the count of 5. Do this several times. 11.01.2022 Banana Protein Pancakes A healthy pancake alternative, quick enough for weekday breakfasts! Ingredients... 40g vanilla protein powder 1 large, ripe, banana Sprinkle of cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 large eggs Method 1. In two clean bowls, separate the eggs - Carefully so the yolk doesnt get into the egg whites. 2. Beat the egg whites on high for 2 minutes until they form soft peaks. 3. Add the egg yolks along with the remaining ingredients to a DIFFERENT bowl and beat until smooth. 4. Gently fold 1/3 of the egg white mixture into the banana mixture until roughly combined. 5. Fold another 1/3 eggs whites into the mixture and finally the last portion until everything is well combined. 6. Heat a non-stick frying pan over low heat. 7. Scoop 1/4 c. of the mixture in and cook for 60-90 seconds on each side. OPTIONAL: Top with fresh fruit and/or plain greek yogurt
