18.01.2022 There’s been a massive feeding event of Humpback Whales off Jervis Bay over the last 2 days. Yesterday afternoon, Pary and I ventured out to Stoney Creek @ Bood...eree National Park and watched over 100 whales feeding. I’ve never seen this happen here before. We could even hear them from the carpark. These photos are a little hard to see as they are very zoomed in but you’ll get the idea of what we witnessed Today I watched them from the water. 17.01.2022 I took some video of the feeding event off Booderee National Park yesterday. Turn your sound up and listen to the commotion. This literally went on for 2 whole ...days. It will give you an idea of how full on it was. The whales seemed to be continually doing large laps. I saw one particular whale with unique markings pass my boat 4 times. Truly blessed :) See more

Swim, lunch, walk in nature, sit on the beach, learn ne...w skills - like how to snorkel! While it is not the most spectacular area in Booderee to snorkel, it is a fantastic place to learn how to. Rock platforms house squid and octopus, bream, groper, blackfish - all typical species of fish that live in Jervis Bay. It's a great starting point to learn some techniques that you will be able to use at other snorkelling areas around the park that require a little more skill.
