15.01.2022 Skin Health So much more than a glowy skin my friends. Whilst I have been in the industry for a long time, I must admit than in the last 6 years I've seen a huge amount of women with impaired skin barrier and skin disorders. So much more now with the online shopping which makes the highly active skincare available to anybody with self diagnosis or another pet peeve trying the new "must try products" by the insta influencers who knows f@*# all about skin. Excuse my French.... Mixing different Active Brands together Over exfoliating Trying to get the skin they want without realising what those products are actually doing to their skin. Not understanding the signs of what your skin is saying (yes we need to read skin) Using Steroid cream without knowing the sides effect. Having a problematic skin myself I know too well that sometimes "less is more" They are different levels of skincare and one doesn't fit it all that's for sure. So my point on this little story is that it took this beautiful girl to finally reach out to someone who cared enough to look for a skin solution and not another bandaid. In this case I started it off by an online consultation flagging what was wrong then we found the issues after her skin went in total steroid withdrawal . She went on a rehab program with a special lady named " Kiri" who knows too well what a broken skin feels like and what it needs. Having skin issues slowly chips away your confidence, People judge and looking in the mirror is disheartening. Whether it's acne, pigmentation, rosacea and severe dermatitis.. You need to know that they are people who can help. Understanding your skin and using the correct skincare. 13.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder to wash off Sunblock/ Zinc off your kids pretty faces Every Night. Use a gentle cleanser & microfibre cloth as some Zinc can be really thick and tricky to remove properly. It will prevent their faces drying out and coming out with a rash.
