15.01.2022 We have a culture of dismissal for the creative and cultural industries in Australia; one that continually defies reason and sense. This is a screenshot of the ...government's "job outlook" website recently brought to my attention by a friend of mine in the performing arts community. This is what they think of our industry. This is how it is summarised. Something "small", populated by many who do not have post-school qualifications. It is a characterisation that defies the facts and I am determined to set the record straight: We are a $111bn industry. We are 6.4% of GDP. We employ 5.5% of the workforce (about 600,000 people). Making people happy is our business and our reason for being. An Australia without a healthy cultural life is an unhappy one. The arts isn't fluff. It's a major arterial industry that goes straight to the heart of our economy and our country. It keeps us running, it keeps us happy. So whether for economic reasons, or societal reasons, we must keep it healthy and we must keep the heart of our country pumping. You can help us by sharing this post and help us #settherecordstraight. (Screenshot: https://joboutlook.gov.au/Industry) (Relevant article: https://www.google.com//n/c75c5ef61198863f7b08ba1ba8cd499e)

To s postacie fikcyjne, istoty ze wiata nienamacalnego, mojego wasnego wymiaru królestwa zmaterializowanych uczu i emocji, wrae, snów i potrzeb duszy.
