22.01.2022 Hello to HERVEY BAY and surrounding areas. My name is David Penfold and I am a Manufacturing Jeweller with experience of over 44 years. My wife and I have relocated from NSW to Hervey Bay last week. We have family here and are originally from Noosa but decided to give NSW a go. My motto is IF IT CAN BE FIXED, I CAN DO IT. The amount of times I have had customers tell me other jewellers have turned their work away because of how difficult or time consuming it may be,... has definitely been a lot. I believe every piece is priceless to each individual. I have many photos and testimonials on my Facebook page which shows you my work and as you will see my customers are very happy. I take pride in what I do, and it shows in the pictures and comments. My work consists of small and large repairs (necklaces, bracelets, rings, anklets, earrings and sometimes unusual pieces), resizing rings up and down (all types of gold), melt downs of old gold to make something new, complete new makes (using my gold or using yours), replace lost stones, re-tipping claws, repairing of old jewellery. I am open for business from 6th July. 19.01.2022 Over time many people find that they have quite a few rings, necklaces and odd sorts of gold that they just don't wear anymore. A client of mine had exactly this. She wanted something totally different to what she had been wearing for many years. I used the diamonds from her old rings, melted down the gold out of the rings and made her something that she really wanted. A picture was provided to give me a rough idea of the design she liked and I tailor made with a few chan...ges to suit the size of her diamonds. It's so easy to find designs these days, with Pinterest/Instagram and Google all you have to do is find something you like and save the picture. 07.01.2022 Happy New Year to everyone. Last December was my 10th Anniversary with my lovely wife and on such an occasion I made her a very elegant bangle.
