23.01.2022 I have had an awesome last ten minutes sorting through all the books that have been donated by the lovely people of Brunswick. There is such a range to choose from and most - if not all, are in great condition. Feel free to come in and grab some for yourself or keep as a Christmas present! 09.01.2022 LAST DAY OF TRADE FOR 2018 IS FRIDAY 21 DECEMBER. Our little cafe was built for the cyclists, the train/tram commuters, the tradies, and the local residents. We have welcomed students, families, community groups, local businesses and early morning risers. There are a few teams I would like to thank - in no particular order.... To the @brunswickrenegades the support and enthusiasm, the painting and polishing, I would still be cutting in if it wasnt for you. To @smallbatchroast - thanks for taking us on board. Your advice has been incredibly valuable and the locals are so appreciative for your rich, smooth coffee. To @fawknerfoodbowls you have ensured that our waste was not wasted! To @remedydrinks the delivery guys are so accommodating and lovely and I cannot wait to get the new flavours out to the customers! To @sylvmeltzer @alexcorbettillustration and @prettypoppybysally your art is pride-of-place and is enjoyed by the people sitting and relaxing. On a side note, we wish sally all the best for a great summer with a brand new bub. To all the friends who were always so willing to help! To you I am so grateful. There is not a day that goes by where I do not call this place my little club house. Without you, it is just walls and tables. When you walk in, either to serve or eat, the cafe comes to life. To @giselleswitala your patience and advice has been the pinicle to the everyday running of the cafe. You are an incredible friend and caretaker and I cannot be more lucky to be able to spend some days basking in your sunshine. To the family that come and have a toastie and coffee. Thanks for all your support and for providing decor and pushing the mop around when I cannot be bothered for the 500th time that week. Helping me pick up freezers on the weekend. And the cuddles. To @peterdebus_1 aka my Dad and business partner. We havent killed eachother yet. In fact, its your positivity and willingness to learn that has kept me pushing through. Thanks for being a support while watching from the sidelines. To all the people of Brunswick - thanks for the chats. The stories. The laughs. The teachings. The encouragement. The reminder that everyone can sing. The pictures of your cats. The tattoo advice. The baby cuddles and the waves from your morning bike ride. And to everyone else.
