24.01.2022 A special thank you. The Jesse Bird Welfare Centre board members thank #David Mole for his incredibly hard work and dedication to supporting Service Members and Veterans. David very generously raised funds for the Welfare Centre, donated personally financially and with countless hours of his time. David's wife Sylvia has also been a valued assistant and we thank her also.... We wish David and Sylvia all the best and thank them both for their service.

18.01.2022 The Welfare Centre will be closed as per the State COVID restrictions. We will still be working on your dva and comm super matters. PLEASE: If your not coping in anyway reach out to us, SA Ambulance, your mates, open arms, beyond blue or lifeline.... If you need a one on one Visit because we will liaise with SAPOL to facilitate an exemption. Remember your welfare is our priority. Take care of each other and check on your mates.

17.01.2022 A very successful afternoon with Senator Jacqui Lambie, who met with some current serving members and clients of the Jesse Bird Welfare Centre. Senator Jacqui Lambie has been a keen supporter of ours in trying to get the toxic environment within some local units changed. Thanks Wally's Chinwag for the help and support.

11.01.2022 We have the BBQ fired up outside the RAAF base Edinburgh in support of Current and Former serving members.

08.01.2022 If a serving member wishes to complain about a decision by the ADF, they can use our online complaints form, which can be found here: https://forms.business.gov.au/smart/servlet/SmartForm.html Alternatively, they may call 1300 362 072 between 10:30am to 3:00pm ADST. Please note that, prior to complaining to this Office, the person should go through the Redress of Grievance (ROG) process, including review of the ROG decision by the Inspector-General of the Australian Defenc...e Force (IGADF). If the person wishes to report abuse within the ADF, they may contact the Defence Abuse team within the Ombudsman’s office. Details of how to make a report of abuse can be found here: https://www.ombudsman.gov.au//a/reporting-abuse-in-defence
