22.01.2022 Hey guys and girls, durning these crazy times I would like to let everyone know that I will still be working as normal due to being an essential animal welfare service! This will be a difficult time for all of us and we need to do all we can to ensure not only our own safety but that of others to. To help out with this I am going to be putting some measures in place to help with this and they will include; ... Following the social distancing advice given to us by the government. If you think you or someone if your family you are in contact with fall into the high risk category I would ask that it may be better for you to wait until everything blows over or if you can leave your horses in yards/stables and let me deal with them alone Direct debit payments/transfers are preferred to limit passing of any germs or bacteria that can be passed on I will be carrying sanitiser to use before and after visits and will have some available for my clients if you would like to use it to I understand times will be hard on everyone and I will do my best to accommodate for everyone during these crazy times. 21.01.2022 Absolutely baffled that someone that calls themselves ‘Vets’ can leave a horse in this sort of condition and expect everything to be fine.. this horse was seen 12 months ago and the owner was not given a single piece of information of what was going on in the horses mouth except for that it was routine Unfortunately I forgot to get an after photo but this little guy would be feeling like a brand new horse now! What the photo doesn’t show is the severe damage this tooth has done to the opposing tooth below it that has been smashed down the the horses gums. If you were looking for a reminder that you need to gets your horses teeth done, please let this be it!

Incisor care is just as important as routine floats on your horses molars, while this is a reasonably mild slant pictured below the effects it has on the rest of the jaw can be quite severe. Slants and misalignments are a common cause for hooks as over time they create space on one side of the horses jaw due to the over wearing of one side giving space for the hook to erupt. ... 09.01.2022 Apparently only having one giant hook wasn’t enough.. Once again another pony that had its teeth ‘done regularly’.. Never be afraid to ask questions of anyone working on your horse or to ask to see the finished product. Taking people’s word can get your pony out in a position like this! The client was unwise to these hooks because the previous ‘dentist’ told her the horse was in great condition..

06.01.2022 Holy hooks! This poor guy must have been uncomfortable for quite a while! Even amongst these crazy times it’s still essential for your ponies to have regular dental visits so ensure something like this doesn’t happen to your horses!
