24.01.2022 We are very lucky to have our girls home this weekend for a boarders weekend. Today Arnika and I are hanging out doing my 2 favorite things, Hides and cooking. Tay has gone trucking with Col moving some sheep around. Tomorrow we get to swap Mass production of hide coasters needed today and looking forward to dinner tonight - Lasagna with hand made pasta. Yummy. Hope everyone’s Friday is shaping up for a great weekend too.

22.01.2022 To all my friends out there who wanted to know how I make my clutches ... here it is on steroids. I am nearing my 1000th clutch in a month or so and whilst my technique has been completely self taught and tweaked a bit in the last 3 years, it has fundamentally remained the same. This part of the process takes about an hour and then there is another hour or so to finish with hand sewing and making the tassel and wrist strap. All up it takes about 2.5 hrs + per clutch, so... you can see there is a lot of love and attention given to it from start to finish to make it perfect for you. Enjoy and have a great Sunday. K

07.01.2022 I have been asked a few times in the past about making tobacco pouches but never been quite game. I finally gave it a go after doing some research and having a few chats with a client. Here is my version of a leather tobacco pouch, which has been road tested ( thanks Raz) and given the . ( Actually, someone thought that they liked / needed it more than Raz so I had to make her another one ) The inside of the pouch is fully lined with plastic to keep the tobacco fresh a...nd contained. The front section has a hide feature with a customized leather pocket for papers. The pouch measures 19x12 cm when closed, and is available for $55 plus postage. Anyway. See what you think. 05.01.2022 One of the main reasons for my trip away this week was to finally collect this little cutie. She has been ready since March but due to COVID restrictions couldn’t be collected at that time. As with all my trailers, she is a tardis and is already almost full of supplies. Thankyou to Neil at Dixon Trailers - Gympie for making my trailer. So well built as it needs to be to travel the roads we do. It’s essentially a motorbike trailer with a customized storage compartment... at the front. I’m so excited to have an enclosed trailer to keep all our goodies safe and secure. We had many events planned this year for her but they have now all been postponed to next year. 2021 is quickly becoming very busy with a few new additions to our travels. Can’t wait to get out and about and see you all again. Dixon Trailers

04.01.2022 Well after 2800 klm and a week away, I am nearly home. I have to say I have had enough of shopping ( well for now anyway) and negotiating traffic and people. Give me wide open spaces and the sun going down after 7 pm any day. Back in the good country. Home is where the heart is that’s for sure.
